Protest Play Empowers Women

Protest Play Empowers Women’s

Women who understand female anatomy and the functions of the female organs are empowered to make informed health decisions. “UN BECOMING” is the story of a sensuous artist named Emma Douglas. Emma is empowered to take control of her own body when an unlikely hero rises up to help her avoid an unwarranted surgery to remove her healthy sex organs.

Pasadena is the 40th city to host “UN BECOMING” since it’s New York premiere in 2004. Written in the tradition of the Federal Theater Project’s “living newspaper” theater, “UN BECOMING” explores how any woman can lose control when the voice of intuition is silenced.
